Users & Permissions
The Users section lets administrators invite new team members, manage account status, and configure per-menu permissions for each user.
To access this page, go to Settings → Users.
Inviting a New User
Section titled “Inviting a New User”- Click + Invite User on the Users page.
- Fill in the user’s Full Name and Email.
- Click Send Invitation.
An activation email will be sent to that address. The user clicks the link in the email to set their own password and activate their account.
After activation, open the user from the Users list to configure their menu access permissions.
User Roles
Section titled “User Roles”Each user has one of the following roles: owner, admin, operator, or viewer.
The owner role always has all permissions enabled — the permission table is visible but read-only for the owner. All other roles (admin, operator, viewer) have fully configurable permissions set per menu item by the administrator.
Configuring Permissions
Section titled “Configuring Permissions”Click on any user in the list to open their permission panel on the right side.
Permissions are set per menu item with five permission types:
| Permission | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Read | View the menu and its content |
| Create | Add new records |
| Update | Edit existing records |
| Delete | Remove records |
| Approve | Approve records (e.g. work orders, quotations) |
Toggle the checkboxes for each menu row, then click Save to apply.
Account Status
Section titled “Account Status”In the permission panel, there is an Account Status toggle:
- Active — the user can log in normally
- Inactive — the user cannot log in; their data is preserved
This toggle is not available for the owner account.
Resending the Activation Email
Section titled “Resending the Activation Email”If a user has not yet activated their account, a Resend Activation Email button (envelope icon) appears next to their name in the permission panel. Click it to resend the activation link.
Deleting a User
Section titled “Deleting a User”Click the Delete (trash) icon in the permission panel header to permanently remove a user. This action cannot be undone.
